OVERVIEW

IE’s Turbo Outlet Charge Pipe for the MK8 GTI/R & 8Y S3 replaces the stock plastic and pinched pipe with our constant diameter aluminum upgrade. Our mandrel bent pipe is designed with minimal bends and offers a 13.44% increase in airflow over stock with minimal turbulence. Separate CNC hose ends are welded to offer a solid crush-proof base with grip-lock ribbing and a radius end to keep boost hoses in place even in the most demanding high-boost builds. All harness, coolant line, and mount clips brackets are retained, and TIG welded for a complete factory install that won’t leave any parts hanging loose or rubbing.

UNDER-SPEC STOCK PIPE

Your stock-equipped turbo outlet pipe comprises flow-killing tight bends and pinched walls that create a serious flow restriction at the most important part of the charge system directly off the turbo. The factory pipe is not up to the task of providing optimal flow in a performance build and is manufactured from a hard plastic that can lead to cracks and boost leaks in heavy boost conditions.

IE’s Turbo Outlet Charge Pipe directly replaces the restrictive stock pipe with a true performance design with minimal bends and mandrel bent to retain a constant diameter for the cleanest airpath possible. The pure aluminum construction provides reliability and a fail-proof connection to the silicone boost hoses with the CNC machined grip-lock ribbing, and radius-edged hose ends. No parts are left to hang or rub with our TIG-welded brackets that retain all the factory harness, hose, and clip mounts for a true factory-like quality install.
